About our roastery

Lone Pine Coffee Roasters is a small, family-run roastery striving for perfection in your morning cup.

As the story goes, Central Oregon explorers came upon a lone pine tree among the junipers in a beautiful valley near the site of our roastery. Finding it extraordinary they named the valley after the unique tree; Lone Pine became the moniker for the area. In the same spirit, we seek out the remarkable, the unexpected, and the outstanding coffees of the world.

Highest Quality Beans: from cooperatives and small farms around the world. We cup through hundreds of coffees to find the “coffee superstars.” Our goal is to bring you the highest quality beans and roast in Central Oregon and in so doing challenge what you think coffee can be.

Remarkably Fresh: small batches roasted daily. Coffee is shipped within 24 hours of roasting. Look for the roast date stamped on our bags.

Craft Roasted: to bring out the best in each bean. Each coffee is roasted to display its unique origin characteristics. We are constantly working to unlock the amazing flavors and aromas in our coffees.

Sustainable: supporting growers and caring for the environment
We are always looking for new ways to make our entire operation as Earth-friendly as possible. We compost spent grounds and donate unsold coffees to local non-profits. Our roaster uses two thirds less energy than most drum roasters. Packaging is reduced and reused whenever possible. At origin we look to growers leading the way to truly sustainable practices. These innovators are providing fair wages and services to their employees, being good stewards of their local ecosystem, and are diligently working to improve quality. Improved quality is key in driving demand and in turn fairly compensating all those who have worked so hard to produce such wonderful coffee.
