Gearing up for farmers' markets
We’re not farmers but in our small way we support farmers across the globe by paying top dollar for top-notch coffees. We also feel privileged to participate in farmers’ markets in Madras on Saturdays, Sisters on Sundays, and Bend on Wednesdays all starting the first week of June. (Sisters actually starts on May 25th)
As we did last year you’ll be able to sample a large selection of coffees brewed on the spot in a press pot. See you there!

Cooks ‘n’ Counters – serving complimentary coffee and selling 1/2 lb bags.
15th Street Deli – serving a nice little selection.
We have two new coffees- an exemplary lot of fair trade organic Poco Fundo from Brazil. It is rich, creamy, and slightly wild in character. You’ll find it in our organic espresso blend, but it also makes a great press pot coffee. The second is a very special micro-lot from Colombia. From the Gutierrez family farm in Tolima, the coffee has a very complex caramel and toffee flavor that remains crisp and clean while having a long sweet finish. I am more excited about this particular coffee than any we’ve carried to date!
